Who likes complicated and confusing?
When I go camping, the "setting up & taking down" of my tent is the part that sucks. Really sucks.
This tent is amazing. The day it showed up, I took it out of the box and set it up (just me - no one helping) in under a minute (not counting the stakes)!!
You just unfold it, extend the legs, and walk in. How awesome is that?
Don't believe me? Check Youtube. Type in "Instant Tent", look for the one with a girl in a bright yellow KOA shirt. That's the video that sold me on this tent.
It has LOTS of ventilation. the 2 sides have a large window, the back has a HUGE window. The front has a window in the door, and a window next to the door. Did I mention there are two roof vents? Yup. The roof vents have zippers on them, and a rigid "prop" thing. There's velcro on the top flap, on the top of the prop, and on the bottom of the prop (the bottom of the prop is sewn to the tent as well). You can open the roof vents from the inside by...Read Full Review.

I bought this tent after reading a number of reviews and watching some
videos on YouTube; I'll say with confidence it holds up to its promise. A
no-frills, insanely quick setup tent that is perfect for taking on the
road or a weekend-long stint at any established campground site. It
really is as simple as pulling the center piece up and the already
attached arms out and it's up!
Roomy, great footprint and, as others have noted, the high sidewalls mean great height throughout the interior. Not having to stoop over anywhere in the tent is just plain awesome. We're planning to put two full-size cots and a dog bed in here on a regular basis and there's more than enough room for all three and gear.
I'm giving it 4 stars only because there are some...Read Full Review

Weathers the Storm!!!, June 19, 2011
We had one of these storms this past weekend, and I was camping in it with two of my little girls. And of course, I had my Coleman Instant Tent on it's maiden voyage. I knew we'd have bad weather, so I set a heavy duty tarp under the tent, partially to keep the water away from the tent, but also to protect the tent floor from wear. It was a typical hot and sticky midwest summer evening. Then about 2 AM, the winds came howling in at gale forces of 50 mph (according to the weather service), followed by EXTREMELY loud and heavy rain and thunder. The wind was blowing so crazily that it was hitting the tent from every different direction. Not one square inch of the tent exterior had any chance of staying dry. The rain and thunder continued for the next 5 or so hours with continued moments of VERY heavy rain and winds.
I am very pleased to say that we stayed totally dry and the tent...
